President Benigno S. Aquino III congratulated Alexandra Madrigal Eduque for topping the 2013 Global Award Fundraising during a courtesy call at the Malacañan Palace.

The 23-year old founded the Habitat for Humanity Philippines Youth Council where it had built over 500 houses for the last eight years.

The Resource Alliance, the lead organizer of the awarding ceremony, recognized her contributions by confering to her the Outstanding Volunteer Award and the IFC Choice by the International Fundraising Congress during the 2013 Global Awards for Fundraising held last October 16 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
