A cash amounting to ¥1 million was received by Philippine Ambassador to Japan Manuel Lopez, which was witnessed by President Benigno S. Aquino III, from Kenji Kosaka, Chairman of the Japan Philippines Parliamentarians Friendship League (JPPFL), as donation to typhoon Yolanda victims.

During the courtesy call of JPPFL, President Aquino said that the purpose of his visit to Japan is to personally thank the Japanese people and its government for all their support.
