President Rodrigo Roa Duterte received the officials of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), headed by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hiroyuki Ishige, in a courtesy call held at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo.

Other JETRO officials present during the call were its President and CEO Yasushi Akahoshi; Executive Vice President Dr. Yuri Sato; JETRO Manila’s Executive Director Tohohiro Ando; and Senior Director for Global Strategy ASEAN Seiya Sukegawa.

JETRO, which was established in 1958, is a government-related organization that promotes mutual trade and investment between Japan and other nations.
