At 67 meters high, the Chua Linh Ung Pagoda – particularly the huge statue of Lady Buddha — is the largest pagoda of its scale and architecture set on a hilltop with a scenic view in Da Nang City, Vietnam.

Local people believe that the Lady Buddha or the Goddess of Mercy protects their fishermen and offers strength in the face of storms and strong waves.

Apart from the statue, visitors can also enjoy the lovely courtyard with various kinds of bonsais, many statues of different Buddhas, the main chamber, and the ancestor’s house.

Near the Lady Buddha statue are steps leading to a balcony where one can catch a breathtaking view of the ocean and Da Nang City from the hilltop.
