The Chatuchak Weekend Market (Jatujak) in Northern Bangkok is one of the most popular shopping centers to locals and tourists, and one of the largest weekend markets in the world. It houses more than 15,000 stalls and booths selling goods of every kind from every part of Thailand in its 27-acre lot. It has been running for more than 70 years and is visited by over 200,000 people each day (Saturday and Sunday).

Located right next to the busy Chatuchak Weekend Market is the Or Tor Kor Fresh Market where the best of Thai produce can be found. There is a wide range of fresh organic vegetables, fruits, seafood, dried fish, pre-cut meats, Thai sweets, and snacks like the sticky rice, coconut crepes and pancakes.
