President Benigno S. Aquino III visited Calapan City to grace the ceremonial switch-on of the mini-hydro electric power plant located in San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro.
In his speech the President expressed his appreciation to the people of Calapan for their warm reception. He also said that he plans to electrify 36,000 sitios before the end of his term. The President also laid his administrations priorities: job generation and education.
