The Central Ferry Piers on the northeast part of Central accommodate several destinations, mostly to Outlying Islands in the New Territories. The Star Ferry Company at Pier 7 is a passenger ferry service operator and a tourist attraction in Hong Kong. It carries passengers across Victoria Harbor between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

In southern Kowloon is the urban area of Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), a major tourist hub in Hong Kong. The neighborhood is lined with hotels, restaurants, shopping centers and museums among others. Its waterfront gives the best view of the central area of Hong Kong across Victoria Harbour.

There also stands the former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower, which is a famous landmark in the region.
