President Benigno S. Aquino III met with the top officials of Alliance Select Foods International, Inc. and discussed the agreement that was signed earlier. Alliance Select will purchase an 80% stake in Akaroa Salmon New Zealand Limited with an acquisition cost of 2.8 million New Zealand dollars and another 126,881 dollars as working capital.

Alliance Select Foods International Inc. is one of the leading seafood processing companies in Southeast Asia. It produces over 200 metric tons of processed seafood daily and supplies hundreds of successful brand name companies in across 60 countries.
