“In the political context, the way to earn trust is to perform. The best politics is, I always say, the best politics is performance, because it is something that can’t be taken away from you. That actually makes a difference in people’s lives,” said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as he joined the panel discussion of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Bangkok, Thailand.

When asked about how to rebuild trust amid the ongoing global issues today, President Marcos Jr. emphasized that public servants should always perform their best, affirming that this is what all leaders strive for.
