“This administration is determined to bring quality healthcare services closer to Filipino people. We will establish primary healthcare facilities and specialty centers nationwide,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. vowed as he continues to fulfill the government’s commitment to improve the health sector through the establishment of the first-ever Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center (CMSMC) in Pampanga.

Considered a significant component of the Administration’s Health Facility Enhancement Program (HFEP), the President underscored the importance of the CMSMC in enhancing health facilities and widening access to quality healthcare services, especially those from underserved communities.

“We will relentlessly push for Universal Healthcare and we will not stop until every Filipino has access to quality healthcare,” he assured.

The Chief Executive expressed his gratitude to all government agencies and the private sector who are part of the project, urging those involved to continue working and assure the completion of CMSMC for the benefit of all Filipinos.

“I myself cannot endure the sight of seeing my fellow Filipinos suffer merely because of the lack of facilities in our health system… I urge everyone to be part of the solution and put forward innovative alternatives that you believe can help uplift the lives of our fellowmen,” President Marcos Jr. conveyed.

The CMSMC is a state-of-the-art specialty medical facility consisting of various specialization centers and healthcare services such as heart center, lung center, kidney center, cancer center and children’s hospital.

“It is a fundamental part of the services that this government brings to our people. It is not a privilege to have healthcare. It is a right. And that is how we will approach this problem. And that is how we will continue to make our healthcare system better for the Filipinos,” President Marcos Jr. remarked.
