President Rodrigo Roa Duterte held his third bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc of Vietnam as day one of the 28th and 29th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits and Related Summits got underway at the National Convention Centre (NCC) in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Both leaders were recently elected in their respective countries.
