Bangkok, a highly dense capital city of the Kingdom of Thailand, is a metropolis unlike any other where towering modern skyscrapers are beautifully complemented by ancient Buddhist shrines and temples.

With Thais’ impeccable adherence to its religion, Therevada Buddhism, where small token of which can be found inconspicuously along the street, it has attracted foreign tourists making it one of the most visited tourist destination sites in Southeast Asia.

This year, Bangkok hosts the 34th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit where leaders of the 10 Member States shall converge on June 22-23, 2019 to discuss issues concerning the regional bloc.
