Awarding of the Order of Lapu-Lapu to Wounded-in-Action (WIA) Soldiers

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte conferred the Order of Lapu-Lapu with the Rank of Kampilan to the wounded-in-action (WIA) soldiers namely, 1Lt. Joshua Barrio and PFC Gilbert Pablo, in his visit at Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz in Gamu, Isabela.

The injured soldiers were part of the government troops who encountered communist rebels in Jones, Isabela last August 10, 2018.

Each of them also received financial assistance, gun certificates, wristwatches, and cellular phone units from the Commander-in-Chief.
