President Benigno S. Aquino III flies to Brunei Darussalam to attend the Royal Wedding Ceremony of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hazifah Sururul Bolkiah, daughter of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, to Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Muhammad Ruzaini at the Istana Nurul Iman Palace.

The President is joined by the prime ministers of Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand, other country leaders and VIPs who are also invited to grace the wedding ceremony. All heads of government, including President Aquino, are set to meet Sultan Bolkiah in an informal gathering after the matrimonial rites.

All throughout the event, President Aquino is being assisted by Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Nestor Ochoa, Mrs. Maria Tomasa Ochoa, Philippine Minister and Consul General Raymond Balatbat and Philippine Minister and Consul Celeste Balatbat.
