President Rodrigo Roa Duterte attended a briefing on the Philippine chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) 2017 at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace.

The President was accompanied in the event by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, ASEAN National Organizing Committee (NOC) Ambassador Mariano Paynor, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Catalino Cuy, and other high-ranking government officials.
