Travellers visiting Tokyo who want to see a glimpse of Japanese culture and tradition will find Asakusa a haven for souvenirs with vast offerings of kimono, chopsticks, fans, boken (Japanese wooden sword), Japanese umbrella and all sorts of trinkets and charms. Walking pass the souvenir kiosks, one will find the Sensouji Temple, the Five-Story Pagoda and the Sensoji Hospital.

It is also considered as one of Tokyo’s most traditional neighborhood with its old-world charm dating back from the Edo era or the Tokugawa period.
