Relief goods from both local and foreign aid continue to pour in at Guiuan Airport to help at least 45,000 residents of Guiuan, Eastern Samar affected by super typhoon Yolanda. The relief goods consist of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, and bottled water. Moreover, medicines and health assistance are included to help the sick people, especially children who, according to some residents, suffer from colds and flu due to the cold weather. The government, however, assured that the residents would continue to receive relief assistance until normal life resumes in the municipality.
