Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan and his delegation arrived in Davao City to continue his two-day official visit to the Philippines from January 12-13, 2017.
The Prime Minister was welcomed in the airport by the local government officials of Davao. He then proceeded to the Marco Polo Hotel where he will stay until his departure on January 13 (Friday).
During his visit, Prime Minister Abe will have a private talk with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte at the Chief Executive’s residence in Matina, Davao City. Majority of the Prime Minister’s activities is set to happen in Waterfront Insular Hotel, including the two leaders’ meeting with several Filipino and Japanese business leaders. They will also hold a closed-door meeting with their respective delegation.
Apart from this, Prime Minister Abe will be accompanied by President Duterte in his visit to the Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku, or the Mindanao International School.
