President Benigno S. Aquino III arrived at the Langkawi International Airport together with other ASEAN leaders for the 26th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Retreat Summit and Closing Ceremony to be held in Langkawi International Convention Center (LICC), Malaysia.

Arriving separately onboard their countries’ flagship flight carriers, ASEAN leaders together with the members of their delegation were escorted off by a presidential convoy to their respective hotels before proceeding to the LICC for the 26th ASEAN Retreat Summit and Closing Ceremony.

Before leaders cap off for tonight, they will be treated to a barbeque dinner hosted by Malaysian Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak at the Westin Langkawi Resort and Spa.

President Aquino will be in Langkawi for two days to attend the 11th Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Summit also held at the LICC.
