President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his report on his visits to Thailand and Malaysia during his arrival at the Davao International Airport before dawn of November 11, 2016.
In his visit to Thailand, the President paid his respects to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej whom he considered as a true friend to the nation, and to the people.

“His Majesty will be remembered for his dedicated efforts to foster goodwill, mutual respect and friendship between our nations and peoples,” he said.
In Malaysia, the President discussed with Prime Minister Najib Razak the need to further strengthen Philippines-Malaysia partnership for a safe, secure and stable region.

“Earlier this year, we made headway with the signing of the Framework for Trilateral Arrangement among Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines on Immediate Measures to Address Security Issues in the Maritime Areas of Common Concern,” he added.
