A day after leading the opening ceremonies of the Philippine National Games (PNG) 2018 and the Algeria Oil Field, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited the Municipality of Tabogon in Cebu to join in its festivities as the town celebrates its annual fiesta.
Speaking before the officials, residents, and other guests of the town, President Duterte reiterated the administration’s stance against wrongdoings in the government and the society. He asked the people of Tabogon to continue being stronger and more determined in enriching their sense of patriotism.
“Together, let us work relentlessly in overcoming these obstacles on our way to become a more progressive and comfortable society,” he said.
He added, “Let us stand firm in our shared vision of building a great nation, free from the shackles of terrorism, criminality, illegal drugs, and corruption.
After his visit in Tabogon, Cebu, President Duterte flew to Talisay City in Negros Occidental for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Armed Forces of the Philippines – Philippine National Police (AFP-PNP) housing program.
