Wellington Cable Car

One of the most sought tourism attractions in Wellington is the iconic cable car. It allows easy access from the central business district to Kelburn lookout and at the peak entrance of the famous Botanic Garden. In recent years, it is not just used as a tourist transit but also utilized as a primary transportation for students and residents who are going to the uphill school and suburban areas. The roundtrip fare for adults costs NZ $6 and $2 for students and children.
