St. Ignatius Church is one of the largest Catholic churches in Tokyo. It offers eucharistic mass in different languages including English, Vietnamese, Polish, Indonesian and Spanish. Most of the Filipinos who live in Tokyo attend the Sunday mass. Outside the church, there are Pinoys who sell Filipino food such as “lugaw” (congee), banana cue (banana on stick), viands like menudo, adobo, mechado and fish, and rice cakes. It is where the Filipinos usually gather during Sundays.
