President Benigno S. Aquino III led the kicked off of the “7th Tindahan ni Aling Puring Sari-Sari Store” convention of Puregold Price Club Inc., the biggest gathering of small entrepreneurs led by neighborhood variety or sari-sari store owners at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, as the event’s guest of honor and speaker.
The convention began with a pre-program hosted by celebrity talk show Boy Abunda. Puregold President Leonardo Dayao delivered his welcome remarks which followed by the ribbon cutting by Puregold top officials to signal the opening of exhibit of some 350 booths put up by 100 suppliers at the main convention hall. The program proper was highlighted by the President’s speech. Puregold chairman Lucio Co, vice chairperson Susan Co and Puregold president Leonardo Dayao, welcomed the Chief Executive.
The President toured the convention hall to view the various exhibit and meet with excited participants.
