President Benigno S. Aquino III extended gratitude to the board and members of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) for supporting the government in its efforts to create jobs and strengthen the country’s economy.
In his speech during the 7th Biennial Convention of the CFBCI, the President commended the organization for helping the Filipino community, since its establishment in 1998, in every way it can. The CFBCI, according to him, “even serves as a forum, where people share their ideas with government officials about a number of projects like drug consciousness campaigns and book drives for the less fortunate.” He then thanked them for donating 30 motorcycles to the Philippine National Police (PNP) in support to its Integrated Transformation Program, which aims to help strengthen the police force’s law enforcement capabilities.
The ceremonial presentation of motorcycles was done during the event, where the keys were turned over to PNP Chief P/DG Gen Nicanor A Bartolome by Mr. Lino Uy, President of CFBCI.
