President Benigno S. Aquino III led his family’s commemoration of the fifth death anniversary of his mother, former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino (25 January 1933 – 1 August 2009), in a holy mass at the Manila Memorial Park, Sucat, Parañaque.

The President was joined by the Aquino family and relatives, close friends and members of the Cabinet.

After the mass, he was presented a copy of the Yolanda Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Recovery Plan: Improving Lives, Building Resilient Communities book by Secretary Panfilo Lacson whom he appointed as the Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery.
