President Rodrigo Roa Duterte served as the guest of honor and keynote speaker in the 42nd Commencement Exercises of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) ‘Hinirang’ Class of 2021 via virtual convention at the Malacañang Golf (MALAGO) Clubhouse in Malacañang Park, City of Manila.

This year’s PNPA graduating class comprised of 228 cadets who shall join the ranks of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Cadet Kenneth John Etucas, who hails from General Santos City, is this year’s valedictorian. He is the recipient of the Presidential Kampilan and Chief Bureau of Fire Protection Kampilan, among other awards.

Meanwhile, Cadet Rock Dela Rosa, son of Senator Ronaldo ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa, is this year’s class goat.
