President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the 3rd Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) Meeting at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace on September 20, 2023.

Today’s LEDAC meeting touched on the status of 20 priority measures set for passage by December this year, bills proposed for inclusion in the Council’s Common Legislative Agenda (CLA) based on the Chief Executive’s second State of the Nation Address (SONA), and proposed amendments to the Government Procurement Reform Act and the Tax Code, as amended by the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act.

The LEDAC acts as a consultative and advisory body to the incumbent President in discussing matters relative to the implementation of programs and policies essential to the realization of the goals of the national economy. It also serves as a venue in facilitating high level policy discussions on issues and concerns affecting national development.
