PSG Grandstand, Malacañang

President Benigno S. Aquino III graced the 30th founding anniversary of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) held at the PSG Grandstand in Malacañang Park.

“Ang motto ninyong ‘Integrity, Service, and Excellence’ ay hindi lang mga salitang nakapaskil sa inyong tanggapan, o nakasulat sa papel – habambuhay na itong nakaukit sa puso’t isipan ng Pilipino sa pagtingala sa inyo bilang kalasag ng pangulo, at kawal ng bayan,” President Aquino stated as he honored the elite group.

He added that during his term, he became witness to the transformation of the PSG wherein he saw their utmost dedication and professionalism, citing the situations that the PSG has stood guard to ensure his safety, as well as other events in the country that required their superior skills.

The President saluted the men and women for making him feel secure since he sat in office, saying that he never once felt that their service weakened, but rather grew stronger.

Before his statement, the Chief Executive honored the 11 men and women of the elite group for their exemplary performance and invaluable contribution to the PSG.
