State Dining Room, Malacañan Palace

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the 2nd National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board Meeting at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

This followed the ceremonial signing into law of the Administration’s first national budget or the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of 2023 amounting to PhP5.268 trillion.

With the President’s Cabinet members in attendance, the meeting agenda included the following: approval of the proposed Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2023-2028; endorsement of an Executive Order directing government agencies and instrumentalities to implement the PDP 2023-2028; and, endorsement of an Executive Order extending the tariff modification on various products.
