President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the 2nd Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) Meeting at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

Today’s LEDAC meeting focused on discussions on the Council’s Common Legislative Agenda (CLA) for the 19th Congress. These included the 10 proposed priority bills anchored in the eight-point socioeconomic agenda and the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2023-2028 of the Marcos Administration.

The LEDAC serves as the consultative and advisory body to the incumbent President to discuss matters relating to the implementation of programs and policies of the government to achieve the goals of the national economy.

It was established on 9 December 1992 pursuant to Republic Act No. 7640. It gives the lawmakers from the Senate and House of Representatives (HOR) a venue with the Chief Executive to facilitate high-level policy discussions on issues and concerns that affect national development.
