After the opening ceremony of the 28th and 29th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte participated in the Plenary Session of the 28th ASEAN Summit that took place at the National Convention Centre (NCC) in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

President Duterte was joined in the Plenary Session by his fellow ASEAN Heads of State/Government from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
