The Government House is the seat of office of New Zealand Governor General Jerry Mateparae in Wellington City. The home-like structure is a two-storey building composed of several reception rooms, a large ballroom, a grand staircase in the entrance, and a flag tower. It was designed by Architect Claude Paton and was built between 1908 and 1910.

President Benigno S. Aquino III is expected to be welcomed with the traditional Maori Dance at the grassy grounds of the Government House. The President and Governor General will conduct a bilateral meeting at the Liverpool Room which is one of the reception rooms of the Government House. The State Dinner in honor of President Aquino will also take place in the ballroom of the house.
