President Benigno S. Aquino III joined the other Heads of State/Government of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in the 17^th ASEAN-China Summit on the second day of the 25^th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits held at the Myanmar International Convention Center (MICC).

The leaders discussed developments in multi-sectoral cooperation and welcomed new areas of cooperation through the 2+7 Cooperation Framework of ASEAN-China relations.

They also look forward to fully and effectively implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) and to work together for the early conclusion of the DOC.
