President Benigno S. Aquino III congratulated the 187 newly-graduated cadets of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) during the commencement exercises held at Fort Gregorio Del Pilar in Baguio City.

The President was given full military honors upon arriving at the sundial area in Fort Del Pilar. He then led the distribution of diplomas to BAGWIS Class of 2012 and the awarding of honors to the outstanding cadets, led by 2nd Lt Tom Puertollano of Lipa City, Batangas, the class valedictorian, and also the recipient of the Presidential Saber Award and the Presidential Academic Excellence Medallion.
