President Benigno S. Aquino III graced the celebration of Youth Summit 2014, a biannual gathering of the Kristiyanong Kabataan para sa Bayan (KKB) at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

With the theme: “Fearless”, the President expressed his admiration to the youth in what he called a dauntless gathering for the purpose of strengthening their faith and involving their selves in building a better community and making a social change. Stand for your principles, speak for the truth, and fearlessly take a step to achieve your dreams, he said.

“Hangga’t nagkakapit-bisig tayo, hangga’t naninindigan tayo sa kung ano ang tama at ikabubuti ng nakakarami, at hangga’t matibay ang ating pananalig sa Diyos, wala tayong dapat ikatakot,” he added.

The Youth Summit started as an annual gathering for young people in 2004 and became a biannual celebration last 2010. This year’s summit was held in 6 locations worldwide namely, Ontario, Canada; Saskatchewan, Canada; Bologna, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; Virginia, United States of America, and lastly in the Philippines on December 18-19, 2014.
