President Surangel Whipps Jr. of the Republic of Palau pays tribute to Dr. Jose P. Rizal as he offers a wreath at the Rizal Park Monument in Manila on February 24, 2025.

After the ceremony, the Palau Leader proceeds to Malacañan Palace for a bilateral meeting with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. They are also expected to present signed agreements geared towards further strengthening cooperation between the two nations in various areas.
