President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. embarks on a return visit to Japan, this time on a Working Visit to Osaka from 19-22 June 2025.
The President is set to visit the Philippine Pavilion at the World Expo Osaka 2025, a crowd favorite which has welcomed over 300,000 visitors in just two (2) months. A ‘multisensory celebration of culture, creativity and sustainability designed to leave a lasting impression on the global stage’ is in store for the President when he visits the Philippine Pavilion. Thereafter, he proceeds to the Japan Pavilion for a guided tour as well.
The Chief Executive also engages in high-level business meetings with several Japanese corporations to strengthen and expand investments in the Philippines.
Furthermore, President Marcos Jr. allocates time to meet with his ‘kababayans’ residing and working in Osaka, Japan through a Filipino community gathering.
The President’s first official visit to Japan was in Tokyo in February 2023.
