President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India witnessed the exchange of agreements signed by the Philippine Cabinet Secretaries and their Indian counterparts in a ceremony held at the Reception Hall of Malacañan Palace.

The agreements pertained to different areas of cooperation, including the following: (1) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Indian Ministry of Tourism on Tourism Cooperation; (2) MOU between the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Indian Navy on Sharing of White Shipping Information; (3) Program of Cooperation in the fields of Science and Technology for the period 2019-2022 between the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Indian Department of Science and Technology; and (4) Cultural Exchange Program between the Government of the Philippines and the Government of India for 2019-2022.
