President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received a warm welcome from President Vo Van Thuong upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace for the second day of his State Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The two leaders stepped onto the podium of honor for the welcome ceremony wherein a 21-gun salute was fired during the playing of the two national anthems, signifying the highest honor and respect accorded to the visiting Philippine leader.

Thereafter, the Vietnamese President invited President Marcos Jr. to inspect the Honor Guards of the Vietnam People’s Army.

The welcome ceremony concluded with the two Southeast Asian leaders introducing their respective delegation.
