President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited the wake of PFC Ricardo T. Simbajon and offered his condolences to his widow, Mrs. Jumelen Simbajon, at the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) Mortuary in Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City.

The President also gave Mrs. Simbajon a posthumous award to honor her husband, as well as other benefits given to the bereaved families of fallen soldiers.

PFC Simbajon was the only fatality from the government forces after a clash with around 80 rebels from the New People’s Army (NPA) on August 5 at Sitio Kambangon in Brgy. Lilingayon, Valencia City, Bukidnon.
