Riverside Medical Hospital, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited PO1 Robert John Arzaga of the Philippine National Police (PNP) at the Riverside Medical Hospital in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

PO1 Arzaga was wounded-in-action (WIA) while serving a search warrant against the 53-year old leader of an armed group, Harold Valenciano, from Zamboanga Sibugay.

A firefight ensued immediately after suspects sighted the group of PO1 Arzaga. Two suspects died in the clash, an armed suspect escaped, while the leader, Harold Valenciano, was arrested.

Six firearms were collected from the armed group after the clash.
