In his short message during a virtual meet-and-greet with various public schools nationwide, the President expressed hope that the school opening went smoothly for students, teachers and parents alike.

“Kaya lahat talaga ng departamento hanggang sa Office of the President ay nakabantay ngayon sa inyo dahil ito na ang pinakaimportante naming ginagawa,” he continued.

The Chief Executive likewise reaffirmed the Administration’s commitment to improving the quality of education and delivering dependable public services to all learners, particularly in support of functional literacy.

Furthermore, he encouraged schools to actively coordinate with local government units (LGUs) and Department of Education (DepEd) officials to communicate any specific needs, assuring them that the government will strive to respond and provide the necessary support.
