In continuation of his activities in Berlin, Germany, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the Siemens Energy and Gas Turbine Plant.

The visit reaffirmed the government’s unyielding commitment to develop the Philippines’ renewable energy (RE) resources anchored in further promoting sustainability and climate resiliency.

President Marcos Jr. expressed gratitude to the German government for their interest in fostering collaboration in this particular area of the energy sector. He also outlined various targets to strengthen RE in the power generation mix, as well as proposed cooperation with the Siemens company to address challenges and explore opportunities in the country’s RE sector.
