On the sidelines of the Summit, President Duterte, together with some of his Cabinet Secretaries and other Philippine government officials, convened with South Korean President Moon in a bilateral meeting. The two leaders witnessed the signing and exchange of agreements between the Governments of the Philippines and Republic of Korea.
