USWAG Pinas! is the newest flagship program of Radio-Television Malacañang (RTVM) that showcases the movement of the national leadership and its agencies, the multi-faceted beauty of the Philippines, and the invaluable contributions of modern Filipino heroes for national development.

Derived from the Bisayan term “uswag” which means progress, the social media program aims to inform viewers on the accomplishments of the current administration and to inspire the Filipino people to contribute voluntarily for the country’s development.

One of the program segments, LakBayan ng Lahi, features President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s participation in the 121st anniversary celebration of Philippine Independence in Malabang, Lanao del Sur. Multiple ceremonies were also held in various parts of the country in observance of the Philippine Independence Day.
