President’s Hall, Malacañan Palace
2 October 2014
President Benigno S. Aquino III swore in newly-elected board officers of the National Executive Board of the Union of the Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.
In his speech, President Aquino reminded them of their election promise towards government reform. He even shared with them his experience as a congressman from the province of Tarlac.
Oriental Mindoro Governor Alfonso V. Umali Jr., Manila City Vice Mayor Francisco “Isko” M. Domagoso, Cagayan Province Vice Governor Leonides “Odi” N. Fausto were among those who took oath as ULAP National Board Officers.
Formed in September 1998, ULAP works for the improvement of the delivery of basic services and for authentic and humane governance to local communities.
