Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Antonio Ernesto Lagdameo Jr. successfully led the ‘Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas’ Job Fair and other government services at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in the City of Manila on January 31, 2025.
In his brief remarks, he emphasized that this initiative is part of the government’s collaborative efforts to uplift the lives of the Filipino people, particularly those seeking employment after graduating from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
“At hangad namin sa inyo, gaya ng lagi nating sinasabi: Walang maiiwan at walang mapag-iiwanan sa Bagong Pilipinas na ating itinatatag,” SAP Lagdameo Jr. stated.
The event featured key services from participating government agencies, including the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of Agriculture (DA).
Among the highlights of the event were the financial assistance for 4Ps beneficiaries to help cover their pre-employment expenses, an orientation on DOLE’s ‘Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers’ (TUPAD) program, livelihood support, affordable basic goods from ‘Kadiwa ng Pangulo’ and seminars for those interested in starting small businesses.
