Acknowledging the vital role of the coconut processing industry in driving economic growth and creating local employment, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally conveyed his support for its continued contribution to national development during his visit to the Central Pacific Agricultural Ventures Inc. (CPAVI) coconut processing facility in General Santos City.

CPAVI, a subsidiary of Century Pacific Food Inc., is an integrated coconut manufacturer strategically located on the rich agricultural island of Mindanao. The company partners with local farmers and traders to ensure that every coconut processed meets the highest standards. It operates 24/7 with best-in-class equipment, processing freshly harvested coconuts to preserve their natural goodness.

Among its products are coconut water, coconut milk, coconut oil, desiccated coconut and coconut flour.

For this year, the company projects generating PhP10 billion in direct economic value, with 46% allocated to suppliers and operating costs, 22% to farmers’ support and 15% distributed to employees. It also plans to double its manufacturing capacity and expand its business to increase support and impact on local communities.

Beyond its world-class standards, CPAVI also takes pride in its sustainability efforts — turning coconut shells into clean energy, harnessing solar power to operate more sustainably and minimizing waste.
