Thousands of The Youth Summit 2012 participants warmly welcomed President Benigno S. Aquino III on the closing of the 2-day summit at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Considered as the biggest annual Christian youth event in the country this year, it is spearheaded by the Kristiyanong Kabataan Para Sa Bayan (KKB) Movement of the Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide.
In his remarks, the President recognized the immeasurable participation and contribution of the KKB Movement in nation-building through its School Outreach Ministry nationwide and that the group was able to inspire the youth and share with them the word of God. He added that KKB also gives them the chance to fully understand issues that affects their lives through the movement’s youth camps, leadership trainings and conferences.
KKB currently has 185 central chapters and 932 national chapters, as well as 17 Christian Youth for Nation or CYN international chapters.
This year’s summit carries the theme, “Extreme! No Middle Ground!”
